The answer to Moon Knight's biggest problem lies in the X-Men's greatest secret, and one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes just cracked the code.
Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu #9 (by Jed MacKay, Devmalya Pramanik, Rachelle Rosenberg, and VC's Cory Petit) finds the titular hero meeting with none other than the original Ant-Man himself, Hank Pym, all in the hopes that his fellow Avenger will be able to help come up with a cure to the rampant glitter addiction currently threatening so many lives. As Pym explains, Glitter itself contains a mystical component, which is no surprise considering it was being sold by the Asgardian drug lord Achilles Fairchild. What is surprising, however, is the fact that Hank is able to concoct a cure so swiftly, and all by leaning on the very terrestrial origins of the X-Men's interdimensional mystery metal - Mysterium.

First glimpsed in the pages of 2021's S.W.O.R.D. #1 by Al Ewing and Valerio Schiti, Mysterium is a seemingly impossible metal that was discovered by members of The Six, a band of mutants chosen to travel to the White Hot Room and bring back this strange new material. Impossibly strong, incredibly conductive, and entirely immune to the effects of magic, Mysterium immediately became the most coveted substance in the Marvel Universe. Of course, due to its unique origins, the mutants of Krakoa were the only ones who could reasonably collect it, leading them to become a whole new kind of global powerhouse after amassing hordes of Mysterium in relative secrecy.
As Hank Pym explains, the root of all Mysterium lies in Kirbons, a sort of primordial particle that serves as one of the basic building blocks of the Marvel Universe. Kirbons have been found in various places, usually tethered to cosmic rays or gamma radiation, while also existing in otherworldly locations such as the White Hot Room. When Hank Pym first crafted his famous Pym Particles, he did so by refining and effectively programming the size-changing properties of Kirbons and making them safe to bond with the human body.

Marvel is Turning Spider-Man’s Original Love Into a Lethal Threat
Spider-Man's original love is back in a whole new role, and this time there is no chance of her being an evil clone or Multiversal variant.
The name Achilles Fairchild was first mentioned in the pages of 2024's Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu #1 by Jed MacKay and Alessandro Cappuccio. Initially, all that was known about Fairchild was that he was behind the rise of the dangerous new party drug known as Glitter.
In the time since, Fairchild's presence has only grown more prominent, as has his stature within New York City. In recent months, Fairchild used his connections within the police force to turn Moon Knight into the most wanted man. Unfortunately, Fairchild wasn't prepared for Moon Knight to uncover his own Asgardian origins, let alone be able to pose a genuine threat to him and his criminal operation.
