Any Marvel and X-Men fan worth their salt is well aware of the seminal “Days of Future Past” storyline within the pages of Uncanny X-Men #141–142 that saw Kitty Pryde travel back in time in order to prevent a dystopian future. In the decades since it was first published, the storyline has inspired inspired spin-offs, film, television, most notably the 2014 X-Men film. Likewise in comics publishing, the storyline has been revisited countless times over the decades such as the X-Men: Days of Future Past – Doomsday miniseries from two years ago.
Today Marvel announced a one-shot X-MEN BY CHRIS CLAREMONT: PRELUDE TO A FUTURE PAST #1. Moreover, the one-shot will also include a special prelude story that was only available in the Marvel Made Paragon Collection: Chris Claremont, a limited edition prestige hardcover.
