Pop culture's deadliest Predator is breaking the rules of a beloved Marvel anthology series.
In a preview of the upcoming Predator: Black, White & Blood #1 from Marvel Comics, fans can get their first look at the three stories that are set to take place within its pages. Like every other Black, White & Blood comic before it, the latest edition uses a strict, limited color palette. Unlike others, however, Predator: Black, White & Blood #1 isn't restricted to just black, white and red, especially not when that isn't the color its eponymous warriors bleed in the first place.

Marvel Comics' Black, White & Blood line has been a fan-favorite since it was first introduced with the release of 2020's Wolverine: Black, White & Blood. Since then, numerous Marvel Comics icons have received the Black, White & Blood treatment, including Carnage, Deadpool, Elektra, Moon Knight, Spider-Man, and the entire world of Marvel Zombies. Even properties outside the bounds of Marvel Comics, including Alien franchise and characters from the Star Wars franchise like Darth Vader and Darth Maul, have gotten in on the harrowing action.
Predator: Black, White & Blood #1 offers fans three different terrifying tales to pour over. The first, "Bloodwood" by writer Joe Kelly and artist Álvaro López, finds a lone Yautja warrior trapped in a cage as part of an underground fighting ring. The second, "Once and Future" from writer Eliot Rahal, artist Brian Level, and colorist Lee Loughridge features a band of Middle Age travelers who happen across a Predator's work, only to be caught in its crosshairs for themselves. The final story, "A Place of No Honor" by writer Sarah Gaily and artist Fran Galán, might be the most intriguing, as a cloaked Yautja wanders into the middle of a gun show full of potential targets.

2025 has been a stellar year for the Predator franchise beyond hotly-anticipated comic book releases. In June, Prey director Dan Trachtenberg's latest franchise feature, the animated anthology film Predator: Killer of Killers, premiered on Hulu to the delight of critics and audiences alike. Trachtenberg will also take the franchise back to the silver screen this November when Predator: Badlands tears its way into theaters. The film will star Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi as Dek, a young Yautja outcast who crosses paths with a lone Weyland-Yutani synth known as Thia, portrayed by Elle Fanning, and teams up with her to survive his alien world's harsh terrain and treacherous landscape. Fanning will also play a second role in Predator: Badlands, although details regarding who or what that will be have yet to be revealed.
