Bloodborne, the cult favorite cosmic-horror FromSoftware game, is no stranger to the realm of comics. Over the last decade, Titan Comics have published various comics taking place in the world of the game, further exploring the strange, terrifying world of Yharnam and the monsters that inhabit it. Readers can further explore the world of Bloodborne in a brand new deluxe edition of the best-selling comics, The Death of Sleep: Deluxe Edition.

Cerebral writer Ales Kot (Bucky Barnes: The Winter Soldier) and fan-favorite horror artist Piotr Kowalski (Where Monsters Lie) deliver an astounding addition to the franchise with the story of the nameless hunter and a lost child, both trying to survive the night and the hunt. It’s a wonderful comic, with incredible artwork from Kowalski and smart, subtle writing from Kot throughout. Collecting the first volume in the Bloodborne comic series, the brand new deluxe edition features exclusive new behind the scenes content, including never-before-seen artwork and the original #1 script, all collected in a hardcover format.

Awakening in an ancient city plagued by a twisted endemic-wherehorrific beasts stalk the shadows and the streets run slick with the blood of the damned, a nameless Hunter embarks on a dangerous quest in search of the mysterious Paleblood, his only escape from the endless Night of the Hunt. The story features delightfully horrific and beautiful artwork of recognizable places and monsters from the original 2015 game. It’s a book I can comfortable recommend to any horror comic fans, as well as fans of games like Bloodborne, Resident Evil or Silent Hill. The brand-new cover and exclusive preview pages can be seen below.
