Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- is officially returning with Season 4, slated to stream in 2026. A brand-new teaser trailer and third teaser visual were revealed alongside fresh character artwork that gives fans a glimpse of the perilous journey ahead.
Courtesy of KadokawaThe next arc throws Subaru and his companions into the uncharted Auguria Dunes, a vast desert filled with dangerous mabeasts and a looming mystery tied to the elusive “wise man” Shaula. The teaser PV shows off this unforgiving terrain as Subaru and his friends brace for yet another life-or-death battle—this time far from the familiar lands of Lugnica.
With stakes higher than ever, Season 4 picks up after the brutal battle at Priestella, where Rem fell into a coma, Julius’s name was forgotten, and Crusch lost her memories. Driven to undo the damage caused by the Authority of Gluttony, Subaru sets his sights on the Pleiades Watchtower—the final stronghold of ancient knowledge.
In addition to the teaser PV, newly released character visuals show fan-favorites Emilia, Beatrice, Ram, and others sporting updated outfits for their upcoming desert trek. The artwork also teases the arrival of Shaula, voiced by Ai Fairouz, who may hold the key to reversing fate.
The production brings back WHITE FOX as the animation studio, with Masahiro Shinohara directing and Tappei Nagatsuki, the original author, supervising the script. Kenichiro Suehiro returns to compose the music, continuing his hauntingly memorable score from past seasons.
Re:ZERO’s light novel series has sold over 13 million copies worldwide, and anticipation for the new season is at a high after the critical success of Season 3.
