Sabrina The Teenage Witch – Annual Spectacular 2024

3 weeks ago 8

“Awakening!”

Monsters everywhere, as far as the eye can see! Amber Nightstone has surely done it this time. First she tried to put the heebie-jeebies on the students of Riverdale at the Lodge estate. Now she has summoned the very creatures from the Fae-Light Zone. Dun Dun Duuun!

What sinister plot has Sabrina and Salem just uncovered? Why does the Eyegore Estates look like a gateway to hell? Is it to windy to ride brooms side saddle?

“Grounded”

UFO! Aunt Hilda saw a UFO inside the house nonetheless? She must be reading her tabloid stories again? Or, maybe not. Reggie!

“Haunt Taunt”

It’s move-in day at the new Spellman house. But why is the Realtor acting particular? So what if the place is haunted? That’s Awesome! Those ghosts better be as real as he is making it out to be. What’s that rustling sound inside the walls?

“January White Sale”

What is Aunt Hilda going to do with all this junk? The attic needs a good magical cleaning but Sabrina wants some alone time with her old toys. Wait. Harvey wants to play salesman outside in the snow. Is he crazy?

“Strange Love”

Harvey has never even looked at another girl until today? Who is she, and why is Ethel Muggs making accusations? It’s time for Sabrina to play detective and get to the bottom of this mystery. Maybe a love spell will set things right?

Reviewer Notes

Sabrina has a new enemy with the power to change the magical realm forever! Can she stop this baddy with a little Scarlet Witch influenced dome’age? If you purchased the Archie Annual Halloween Spectacular this year, you will want to get this book. The art alone is awesome sauce.

This issue is mostly remastered reprints from older Sabrina comics, but the new one is really fun. I’m giving this year’s Sabrina Annual five stars. Archie Comics truly deserve the title of Official Comic Book of Halloween.
