Sacha Baron Cohen has made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Mephisto, a character who'd long been desired by fans to finally arrive. Taking the role very seriously, Cohen completely transformed his body, now looking absolutely shredded in new images of the actor.
Per Deadline, new images have been revealed of Cohen as he will appear in Men's Fitness UK magazine. He is featured on the cover, shirtless and holding weights with his new muscles on full display. Fans are stunned by how different Cohen appears, especially when compared to some of his previous characters, like Borat, Ali G, and Bruno. Check out the cover below.

The Most Powerful Marvel Characters Not Yet Seen In The MCU
As the Marvel Cinematic Universe adds new characters in the fifth phase and beyond, there are a few powerful heroes and villains left unadapted.
Getting so buff was achieved through hard work and the assistance of his Alfonso "The Angry Trainer" Moretti. The two met after the trainer was recommended to Cohen by Matthew McConaughey. While hitting the gym was obviously a major factor, Cohen also made big changes to his diet, sticking with foods high in fiber and protein, but low in sugar. His discipline also included starting with 100 pushups per day, and at this point, Cohen says he feels like he's in the best shape of his life.
Is Mephisto Here to Stay in the MCU?
Cohen completely transforming his body is certainly a big sign that he's going to have a big presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe moving forward, though it remains to be seen what that might entail. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige recently confirmed that he sees high potential in Mephisto's MCU future, possibly to the level of reaching the status of a villain like Thanos (Josh Brolin).
"He was never part of WandaVision," Feige said at a press conference attended by CBR. "We've talked about that. Matt's talked about that. Jac Schaefer's talk about that. He was never part of WandaVision. But the enthusiasm with which he was theorized on that was certainly cool and fun to watch. And he's another character that, pre-MCU, would have been hard to do. He's a devil. How do you do that character? But he's a formative character. He was a big part of Thanos' storyline in the comics. So again, now that he's here, the potential is clear."
It was not shared how Mephisto might come back, but there will be plenty of opportunities. He could become a part of the upcoming Avengers movies that are in the works, though it's also possible he could be popping up in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. There's always the chance that plans will be made for Mephisto after the The Multiverse Saga, but for now, it would seem that fans can only speculate.
Cohen can be seen as Mephisto in Ironheart, which is streaming on Disney+.
