The following contains spoilers for Realmguard #1, available now from Marvel Comics

Marvel Comics just gave the Scarlet Witch the high fantasy redesign fans didn't know their favorite character needed.

As noted by fan account eldritchchaos on social media, the Scarlet Witch is just one of several iconic characters to receive entirely new designs courtesy of all-star artist Peach Momoko, and all for the latest Marvel Infinity Comic — Realmguard #1. As seen below, Realmguard #1 gives Wanda Maximoff a fantastical look that is just as intimidating as it is captivating, much like the latest version of the Marvel Universe she calls home.

What Is Marvel Comics Realmguard — And Why Is It So Worth Reading?

Released on July 1, Realmguard #1 by writer Preeti Chhibber and artist Lorenzo Tammetta drops readers into the middle of a brand-new iteration of the Marvel Universe, one inhabited by fantastical versions of classic characters. The main story takes place in Kironia, a kingdom in the midst of a massive political shift.

Among the most prominent characters in Realmguard #1 are Peter Parker and Mary Jane, who have taken on the role of wandering bards, and Steve Rogers, who wields his iconic shield as the Prince of Kironia. The issue also features appearances from Felicia Hardy, still better known as the Black Cat, and Tony Stark, a.ka. The Iron Mechanist.

The official solicit synopsis for Realmguard #1 from Marvel Comics reads, "In the kingdom of Kironia, a high-fantasy version of the Marvel Universe, traveling bards known as the Silk-Tongued Spider (Peter Parker) and Lady Jackpot (Mary Jane) find themselves separated and caught in a plot involving a burned village, a missing prince, and a false king! In this web of lies and conflict, will Peter and Mary Jane be able to find each other again?"

Realmguard writer Preeti Chhibber previously opened up about the series and its new takes on classic characters, noting, "As with approaching any alternative universe, I think the thing is just making sure you're hitting on those character truths—what kind of person is Peter Parker—and making sure they stay consistent in the new world you're dropping them into. I loved thinking about what kinds of roles these characters would play in-world."

Chhibber also discussed the character designs provided by Peach Momoko for the series, which played their own key role in determining their respective personalities in Realmguard. "Peach’s designs helped hone the voice of some of the characters—and there was this surprising line of whimsy to some of the sketches that unlocked some of the potential tone in my head."

Realmguard #1 from Marvel Comics is available now.
