At its first International Comic-Con: San Diego 2025 panel on Thursday, July 24, Marvel Comics put the spotlight on one of its most beloved super-teams: the X-Men. Marvel editor-in-chief C.B. Cebulski and conductor of X Tom Brevoort joined forces with creators including Ryan North and David Marquez to reveal what’s coming next in the X-Universe: Age of Revelation.
Age of Revelation takes the Marvel Universe a decade into the future. Apocalypse’s heir, Doug Ramsey, has reshaped Earth so only mutants are fit to survive it. He and the Choristers hold power in the “mutant utopia” Revelation Territories, but the rest of Earth has been destroyed by the X-Virus. As with any post-apocalyptic tale where only a powerful few benefit from what’s happened, rebellion is stirring…
The event kicks off in October, and Marvel’s X-Men panel revealed covers and solicit information for Age of Revelation Series #2, hitting shelves in November. Two additional titles, Binary #2 and Rogue Storm #2, will be revealed at a later date.
