This story takes place while Hulk was stranged on the planet Sakaar. It begins during the Civil War, where we see Iron Man promising Jennifer that she won’t have to become an agent of SHIELD just because she registered. We also see Tony Stark and other Illuminati planning for a “future” for She-Hulk, now that Hulk is gone.
Flash forward, and She-Hulk has in fact been forced to become a SHIELD agent–and she’s pretty mad about it. She’s on a team sent to “search for Hulk,” which of course is a wild goose chase. In fact, they’re being manipulated by Stark to hunt down some of Hulk’s greatest foes: Abomination, Wendigo, The Leader, etc.
In the end, she figures out that Tony sent Bruce into space and swears revenge.
The art, by Rick Burchett, is very distracting and takes away from what might have otherwise been a much better story to read. This book, up to now, was very good. It’s slipped with this story.
