Spider-Man helps the Fantastic Four fight off an alien invasion of symbiotic creatures looking for hosts.
In the end, they divert the aliens into Impossible Man, and the paired aliens colonize a distant planet. This saves the lives of both races. And because Reed was out in space at the time, it was Spider-Man’s idea.
And on the new planet, a large stone statue is erected in Spidey’s honor.
It’s an “all ages” type book, but it’s quality stuff–a fun rea.
This may have been the last thing Mike Wieringo drew before his untimely death.
