The red carpet world premiere of "Superman" recently took place at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood where stars, filmmakers, and special guests from around the world were welcomed to the epic event. Among them were Adam and Morgan Siebert, co-curators of the Super Museum in Metropolis, Illinois - the official hometown of Superman.

In an exclusive post-event interview, Morgan Siebert shared her reflections with us on the experience, calling the premiere "an unforgettable night full of excitement, emotion, and some truly iconic moments."

Representing both the Super Museum and the city of Metropolis, the Sieberts were invited to witness the red carpet festivities alongside the film's cast and crew. "Getting to attend the world premiere of Superman at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood was beyond anything we could have imagined," said Siebert. "As we made our way into the premiere, we were able to see James Gunn, David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, and many others walk the red carpet. We even had the chance to meet the executive producer of the film, which was such an honor."

The red carpet included interactive photo opportunities, including a display of original costumes from the film. "Seeing the suits up close like that added a whole other layer of excitement," she noted. "Everywhere you looked, there was a sense of history being made."

Inside the theater, the gravity of the moment was deeply felt. "Watching the movie in that environment was surreal," said Siebert. "We were in row four, surrounded by people who had poured their hearts into this film, and fans who were just as invested as we were."

One of the most poignant moments of the screening occurred when Will Reeve, son of the late Christopher Reeve, made a brief on-screen appearance. "There was a powerful moment when Will Reeve appeared, and the entire theater seemed to feel the weight of that legacy," she recalled. "It was quiet, respectful, and deeply moving."

Earlier that day, a chance detour became one of the couple's favorite memories. "We accidentally took a wrong turn and ended up finding this huge wall of Superman posters - each one showcasing a different character from the film," said Siebert. "It was one of those happy surprises that made the whole trip feel even more like an adventure."

For Siebert, a lifelong Superman fan, the opportunity to meet comic book legend Dan Jurgens was a meaningful highlight. "Getting to meet Dan Jurgens - someone whose name was on so many of the Superman comics we grew up with - made the experience even more special," she said.

The couple also toured Warner Bros. Studios, including a private visit to the studio's archives. "We got to do a private visit through their archives, which was packed with behind-the-scenes gems that made us feel like kids in a candy store," Siebert shared. "Between the studio lot, the museum pieces, and the film itself, every part of the trip reminded us why we love Superman and storytelling so much."

More than a celebration of a new film, the premiere was a personal and emotional moment for the Sieberts and the legacy of the Super Museum. "Being there on behalf of the Super Museum and the city of Metropolis, Illinois meant everything to us," Siebert said. "My dad's vision and love for Superman were very much with us on that red carpet and in that theater. This was more than just a movie premiere - it was a tribute to legacy, creativity, and hope."

The Super Museum, founded by the late Jim Hambrick and now operated by Morgan and Adam, remains a global destination for Superman fans. Located in the heart of Metropolis, Illinois, the museum houses over 70,000 artifacts spanning the character's history in comics, film, and television.
