When the red carpet lights up tonight at the TCL Chinese Theatre for the world premiere of "Superman", Toyota will feature a custom 2026 Toyota bZ electric SUV inspired by the film's updated take on the iconic hero - complete with a design wrap modeled after Superman's new costume and a prominent "S" shield emblazoned across the hood.
This one-of-a-kind bZ, based on the newly refined 2026 model, draws direct inspiration from the textures, colors, and detailing of Superman’s latest cinematic suit. The exterior features Kryptonian blue bodywork, deep crimson accents, and costume-inspired contouring. Most striking of all is the bold "S" shield featured front and center on the hood—making the vehicle instantly recognizable to fans and filmgoers alike.
The 2026 bZ - formerly known as the bZ4X - makes its big-screen debut in "Superman" as the personal vehicle of Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane. Off screen, the SUV reflects significant upgrades including increased electric range, faster charging, and a redesigned aerodynamic profile.
The themed bZ will be featured at tonight's premiere alongside cast members, filmmakers, and invited guests as the film makes its global debut.
"Superman", directed by James Gunn and starring David Corenswet as Clark Kent and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, opens in theaters nationwide this Friday, July 11th.
