Tarzan v1 #108, 1958 - Suspecting a boat was used to kidnap Zulena, Natongo and Dan-El follow the river to an unknown town. There they find the queen held prisoner in a guarded tower. Russ Manning's layouts continue to improve. His landscapes and foliage are also noteworthy, but not representative of his better works. Other artists in this issue include Jesse Marsh (on the lead Tarzan feature). Photo cover. This is 70 of 132 Tarzan issues by Manning.
