Tarzan v1 #109, 1958 - Amid the chaos of prisoners escaping, Natongo, Zulena and Dan-El take to the river to make their escape. With enemy tribesmen is close pursuit, the heroes try a new tactic. Some of Russ Manning's panel compositions are better than others. He hasn't quite perfected his inking skills either, which are softer than later works.
