A suspenseful new Star Wars story will see one of the most epic Jedi Masters facing unthinkable horrors. Dark Horse will publish the new canonical story, Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories - Tides of Terror this July.
Fan-favorite Star Wars comics writer George Mann will return for Tides of Terror, with Jedi Master Kit Fisto being sent to the ocean planet of Tordus with Mace Windu and Shaak Ti to investigate a controversial underwater research facility. In danger of flooding and being crushed into rubble, the facility is also plagued by dangerous giant monsters, which will ramp up the suspense and terror in the standalone story. Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories - Tides of Terror #1 goes on sale July 16.

"Following the success of The Bad Batch: Ghost Agents, we’re thrilled to see Dark Horse continue with their next Hyperspace Stories mini-series," Lucasfilm's creative director Michael Siglain said in Dark Horse's press release. "Tides of Terror is part disaster story, part horror story, and all fun. It’s a race-against-time adventure in which the Jedi will face off against saboteurs and the sea creatures, and readers will learn to beware what lurks in the deep, dark ocean world of Tordus."
The character of Kit Fisto is a Nautolan Jedi Knight who has proven himself to be a capable fighter on both land and sea, thanks to his water-breathing Nautolan heritage. Fisto has previously appeared in Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith and The Clone Wars.
Tides of Terror is the Newest in Dark Horse's Star Wars Anthology Stories
Dark Horse's Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories are canon anthology comics that began back in 2022 and have told stories from all across the Star Wars universe. Earlier this year, Hyperspace Stories: The Bad Batch - Ghost Agents released its debut issue. The five-part series chronicles the Clones of the Bad Batch on a mission to find a mysterious Separatist ghost agent.

Rocky Horror Rumored to Get New Series

Next month, another new series under the Hyperspace Stories banner will launch. The first issue of Hyperspace Stories: Codebreaker will hit comic book shops on April 30, with the four-issue series starring Poe Dameron and his droid companion, BB-8, as they investigate a piece of First Order tech used to decode Resistance messages.
