Per the official synopsis for Blade Runner Black Lotus: Las Vegas from Titan Comics, "This all-new series sees the deadly Replicant combat model Elle - aka The Black Lotus Killer - continue searching for answers about her mysterious past. Elle's quest takes her to the irradiated city of Las Vegas (later seen in Blade Runner 2049), a sand-choked ghost town of forgotten memories following the detonation of a dirty bomb. There, she finds a community of role-playing Replicants, abandoned hospitality models from the old casinos now living as embodiments of ancient Egyptian and Roman royalty. Meanwhile, Niander Wallace, smarting from his last encounter with Elle, has dispatched a seasoned kill team to bring back her head."
Elle, aka the Black Lotus Killer, was introduced in the 2021 animated series, Blade Runner: Black Lotus. When she made her debut, Elle had almost no memory of who she was or why she existed in the first place. Eventually, it was revealed that Niander Wallace Jr. created her as part of a plot to murder his father, Niander Wallace Sr., and take complete and total control over the family replicant manufacturing company, the Wallace Corporation. Throughout Blade Runner: Black Lotus and the comic book follow-up of the same name, fans have watched Elle take on all manner of threats while establishing herself as the Blade Runner franchise's latest unlikely hero.
