One returning X-Men star opens up about his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, and his astonishing co-stars.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Kesley Grammer, who will be reprising his classic X-Men role as Doctor Hank McCoy, aka Beast, opened up about his time on the set of Avengers: Doomsday, as well as his favorite co-stars. "I'm a big of Robert Downey Jr. I love him and he's just a terrific fella," Grammer stated. "We... sort of share a scene. I don’t wanna go too into that. I don’t know what I can say or not say. I really had a great time with the new guy from Fantastic Four — Pedro, wonderful guy. I really, really enjoyed hanging out with him."

The X-Men Unite for a Bold New Era, And We Have the First Look

The next chapter in X-Men history is shaping up to be the best they have had in years, and all because they are finally standing united.

Grammer made his cinematic debut as Doctor Henry "Hank" McCoy, better known as Beast, in X-Men: The Last Stand back in 2006. Since then, Grammer has reprised the role for multiple films, including an uncredited cameo in X-Men: Days of Future Past and in The Marvels in 2023. Avengers: Doomsday will mark Grammer's fourth turn at the role in total, as well as his first reunion with multiple other X-Men stars in years.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to bring together a host of longtime fan favorites, including Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen as Professor Charles Xavier and Magneto, as well as Lewis Pullman's Sentry and Tenoch Huerta's Namor. Avengers: Doomsday will also mark the return of original MCU star Robert Downey Jr., this time in the role of the dreaded Doctor Doom rather than that of Tony Stark.

Vintage Comic Sold at Auction is Now the Most Expensive Book of All Time

A new record has been set for the most expensive comic book of all time, and the story behind it is even more astonishing than its price tag.

What Can Fans Expect from Avengers: Doomsday When It Arrives?

Avengers: Doomsday is set to see multiple iterations of the Marvel Universe crash into one another as a result of Multiversal Incursions, which Marvel Comics readers have been well aware of for years. In the MCU, however, this will be a relatively new type of phenomenon and will pose a completely different kind of problem for the heroes of the MCU than what they are used to dealing with. Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige previously discussed this plot point, stating, "Only speaking to the [movie] we're working on now, shooting now, that is — for people who know the comics and know the word incursions, those are universes coming together."

Avengers: Doomsday is currently slated to arrive in theaters on Dec. 18, 2026.
