 of Spidey's third series, Peter Parker tries to distance himself from his symbiote costume but to no avail. Meanwhile, a gang inspired by his arch-enemy the Vulture takes to the skies. While Spider-man struggles out in the open, the 

 launch an attack.

' ethereal painted cover adds a touch of fantasy to the character, making this issue all the more special. This Louise Simonson story was drawn by Greg LaRocque and Jim Mooney.
