Elsewhere, Jack Russell and Elsa Bloodstone are hunting for one of the mutant werewolves in the Colorado Rockies. What’s so important about catching the silver-haired Darkhold Hound? High up on twisting mountain roads they are about to find out. A large creature suddenly slams into the side Elsa’s Jeep Cherokee, sending the vehicle swerving out of control. In seconds, the two monster hunters are rocketed off the side of a cliff face.

Things are getting “hairy” out there! Lilith has definitely stepped up the game for the Darkholders, but animosity in the ranks is never a good thing. I’m glad Werewolf By Night is in good hands, as writer Mark Gruenwald has an excellent grasp on storytelling. I give issue six of Werewolf By Night: Red Band four out of five stars.
