There is something to be respected about the “bash your head into the problem until it crumbles to dust” strategy, and the funny thing about the key of kings is that it might let that plan actually work.
But if going “nah, I’d win” while empowered by a weapon forged from the names of God is enough to overcome this, then what meaning does the journey and work and sacrifice of those that are not Allison have? What purpose does the army brought here serve? What’s the point of the deal with the Worm? And we have seen directly, thousands of her allies are dead already in those explosions, even if she has never met them. The conundrum I see is if she had this attitude before they died, their own wills, drives, and sacrifices would have been moot. But now, it’s too focused on only those she knows. Thus, I anticipate at least one more disaster will befall her.
Though, perhaps this is due to my ignorance on the scope and scale of what the keys can do, or of what bearing a word of power can do. So, from my perspective, I’d like to know what part of her very near-term feats owe their strength to Allison’s determination, training, grit, will, and strength, and what to the borrowed power of God.
