This is an extended Sabretooth story that alternates between flashbacks (or maybe dreams) and the current day. The flashbacks go back to Logan’s relationship with Silver Fox and his historical rivalry with Sabretooth. One of his restored memories is that Creed killed Silver Fox.
It also has some more mythical/symbolic visions of beasts…The present day stuff has Sabretooth kidnap Logan via a Blackbird aircraft (which crashes). The two keep fighting until Storm shows up and squashes it. Because they’re in Wakanda.
Then Sabretooth fights T’Challa. This story is all over the place.
Wolverine and a few others, including Feral, are in Wakanda searching for Wild Child. They catch him. Then he inevitably escapes and Sabretooth wounds Sasquatch and kills Feral.
It’s very hard to tell what is real and what is a dream. There’s a dude named Romulus who’s involved in all this. He seems to be a master manipulator behind most of Logan’s and Sabretooth’s lives.
He appears both in dreams and in reality.
I didn’t love that House of M gave Wolverine all his memories back, but now it feels like we’re just jumbling them all up again. I guess having a “mysterious past” is deemed essential to his character so they’re re-introducing new mysteries.
But in the end, something kinda important seems to happen…
Wolverine beheads Sabretooth.
