Absolute Batman writer Scott Snyder gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the Absolute Catwoman.

As seen in a July 16 X (Twitter) post, fans can now get their first look at some behind-the-scenes character concept art for the Absolute Catwoman herself courtesy of acclaimed writer Scott Snyder. The Absolute Catwoman is donned in an overtly animalistic full-body costume. She wears a mirrored dome around the top of her face, not unlike the one worn by Absolute Batman's Black Mask and his murderous minions.

This sneak peek at the Absolute Catwoman comes alongside a press release from DC Comics outlining things to come alongside the femme fatale's debut in Absolute Batman #13. The issue is currently being marketed as "the final showdown between Batman and Bane," which has already captured readers' attention plenty well on its own. As per the official solicit synopsis for the issue from DC Comics, "Batman’s final confrontation with Bane threatens to trap him in Ark-M forever. In the aftermath, a new figure steps onto Gotham’s stage. Oh...and Absolute Catwoman debuts in this pivotal issue!"

The issue will feature main cover art by Nick Dragotta showcasing the Absolute Catwoman in all her glory, which readers can see for themselves below. Absolute Batman #13 will also be available in a variety of variant covers from a whole host of fan-favorite artists. Among those lending their talents to Absolute Batman #13's expansive cover gallery are Stanley "Artgerm" Lau, Jenny Frison, Adam Hughes, Brian Bolland, and David Nakayama.

Catwoman is just the latest in a long line of Batman villains who have received, or are about to receive, the Absolute treatment. While Absolute Batman kicked things off with an ongoing war between the Dark Knight and Black Mask, it wasn't long before other iconic Gotham City supervillains began coming into focus.

Among the most prominent of those who fans have been given a glimpse at so far are Mister Freeze, Killer Croc, and of course Bane, the latter of whom has been a major problem for Batman ever since he showed up in the Absolute Universe's shadowy, brutalist version of Gotham City in the pages of Absolute Batman #9 earlier this year.

Absolute Batman #13 goes on sale October 8 from DC Comics.
