With the release of Daredevil: Born Again, the original Marvel Netflix series are back in the spotlight and with the return of Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio and Jon Bernthal there is speculation of the other Defenders returning as well. And while people love the idea of Krysten Ritter and Mike Colter returning… there is some questioning whether Finn Jones should return as Danny Rand aka Iron Fist.
Jones was recently asked about it at a convention earlier this month, saying: “I’m very aware of the critiques of the character and my role in it. My response to that is: give me a f*cking chance, man. I’m here and I’m ready, and I wanna prove people wrong.” Jones appeared in two seasons of Iron Fist and one season of the Defenders, along with an episode of Luke Cage. The first season of Iron Fist is generally considered the weakest, but his later appearance did get better and the “Heroes for Hire” episode of Luke Cage was a lot of fun.
