Apple TV has pushed Jessica Chastain’s The Savant to spring 2027, more than a year after shelving the series just three days before its planned September 2025 premiere. The streamer has not announced a specific date, though the current media spin is that this new window will make the show eligible for the 2027 Emmy Awards. That’s an awfully long wait for a series that was already completed and had been sent to critics. Apple TV pulled The Savant on September 23, 2025, shortly after conservative activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated while speaking at a Utah college campus event.
