THIS TITLE IS NOT SOME KIND OF ARTFUL METAPHOR, FOLKS! After 10 years and 100+ issues, the beginning of THE END starts here as acclaimed writer Daniel Kibblesmith (Loki) and artistic annihilator Jarrett Williams (Speed Force) prepare to unleash a fantastically fatal finale for RICK AND MORTY!

Rick Sanchez, the most wanted man in this and every other universe, is on the run. With a bounty on his head, every government, military, pirate, mobster, bounty hunter, bail bondsman, religious institution, theater troupe, circus clown, and endangered species is on the hunt to bring in Rick – DEAD OR ALIVE. The only one who can bring Rick in warm is the one person who knows him best: Morty Smith. But Morty’s not the only Smith hot on Rick’s trail . . . "Space Beth" Smith is determined to bring Rick in, and she doesn’t particularly care how. Now it’s just a question of who can get to him first…!

What happens in the preview pages of Rick and Morty: The End #1?

We see Morty Smith is facing some major trouble due to Rick Sanchez's actions in the previous event series, Rick and Morty Versus the Universe, as he is being placed on a cosmic trial by the collected universes that have been messed with over the years by Rick and Morty, including their most recent "main" universe, the Parmesan Universe (where everyone pronounces "parmesan" as "par-mee-zee-an").

Morty, though, successfully saves the lives of all the Mortys in the universe by throwing his grandfather, Rick, under the bus.

Meanwhile, we see that Rick is holed up in another universe, and in this universe, his daughter is married to a successful Black pilot instead of boring ol' Jerry.

We know that Rick's hideout can't last long, though, so you'll have to pick up a copy of Rick and Morty: The End #1 tomorrow to see how it all falls apart, as Morty is forced to hunt his own grandfather down.
