Known professionally as BIBI, Kim Hyeong-seo first drew attention through self-made music before appearing on SBS’s The Fan, where she finished as runner-up. She officially debuted in 2019 with “Binu,” and from the jump, it was obvious she was never going to take the safe road. Around the same period, she launched her first world tour, 2025 BIBI 1st WORLD TOUR [EVE], with dates spanning Seoul, North America, Asia, and Oceania.
And yes, we have to talk about her acting too, because BIBI is one of those artists who refuses to stay in one lane when she can apparently build three highways at once. She’s taken on screen roles in projects like The Worst of Evil and Hopeless, and her performance in Hopeless earned her Best New Actress (Film) at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards in 2024. She represents a kind of modern Korean artistry that fans instantly recognize when they see it: someone who can be commercially successful without sanding off the weird edges.
