The most twisted Batman of the past decade is finally available from one of the hottest figure lines.
As seen on the official Big Bad Toy Store online storefront, fans can now pre-order their very own Dark Nights: Metal The Batman Who Laughs 1/12 Scale Action Figure from InArt. The 7.1 inch tall figure offers fans countless opportunities to recreate their favorite moments from the comics, with nearly two dozen accessories and interchangeable pieces to help collectors do just that.
The official product description for the Dark Nights: Metal The Batman Who Laughs 1/12 Scale Action Figure from InArt reads, "Officially licensed by Warner Bros and engineered with highly articulated waist and neck joints, this INART action figure allows for dynamic posing that captures the Batman Who Laughs' twisted and unhinged movements with ease. The figure not only includes three additional interchangeable heads, but seven interchangeable hands and eight different weapons to wield, including knives, a Batarang, meat hooks, a submachine gun, and his iconic scythe.
The Dark Nights: Metal The Batman Who Laughs 1/12 Scale Action Figure is currently available for pre-order for $149.99. Unfortunately, fans and collectors will still have to wait until January 2027 before they begin receiving their copies of the figure, which gives them plenty of time to order theirs early if nothing else.
Introduced in the pages of 2017's Dark Days: The Casting #1 by writers Scott Snyder and James Tynion IV and artists Jim Lee, Andy Kubert, and John Romita Jr., the Batman Who Laughs was once known as Bruce Wayne. Of course, being the Bruce Wayne from Earth -22 of the Dark Multiverse, this particular iteration of the character was never going to find any semblance of peace.
Instead, the Bruce Wayne of Earth -22 was fated to become something worse than the Joker when, after bringing his nemesis' latest killing spree to a lethal end, he was infected with a potent strain of the Clown Prince of Crime's infamous Joker Venom. Soon enough, the Batman of Earth -22 was gunning down the rest of the Bat Family in cold blood before embarking upon a career as one of the greatest threats the Multiverse has ever known.
Not long after effectively taking over the entire world, the Batman Who Laughs was given the chance to spread his reign of terror farther than ever before. As an agent of the demonic bat god Barbatos, the Batman Who Laughs traversed the Dark Multiverse, gathering together as many twisted versions of himself as possible before leading them to war against the primary Multiverse. Fortunately, the Batman Who Laughs was ultimately destroyed by Wonder Woman in her gilded form, closing out his story in truly epic fashion.
