Wesley Snipes' Blade is back, thanks to the long-overdue release of a hotly anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine figure series.

Per ComicBook, the second wave of Marvel Legends figures have officially been unveiled, and they are finally bringing more than just the eponymous antiheroes of Deadpool & Wolverine along for the ride. Fans can pre-order the entire set, which includes versions of Wolverine in both his yellow and brown suits, multiple Deadpools, and, of course, Wesley Snipes' Blade.

Each of the seven figures in the Deadpool & Wolverine Wave 2 line of Marvel Legends figures currently retails on pre-order for $27.99, save for the Dogpool & Deadpool deluxe figure, and are packaged with a variety of spare hands, heads, and other accouterments. In the case of the Blade figure, collectors will get access to all manner of vampire-slaying accessories, as seen in the images below.

Snipes made his debut as Marvel's premiere Daywalker in 1998's Blade. Directed by Stephen Norrington from a screenplay by David S. Goyer, Blade introduced audiences to a whole new side of the Marvel Universe, one replete with all manner of creatures of the night. Alongside Snipes, Blade stars the late, great Kris Kristofferson as Blade's mentor, Abraham Whistler, N'Bushe Wright as hematologist Doctor Karen Johnson, and Stephen Dorff as the dreaded Deacon Frost.

Though it only garnered middling critical reviews, Blade was a massive hit with audiences upon arriving in theaters, bringing in more than $131.2 million against a $45 million budget. This was more than enough to kick off a feature film trilogy consisting of Blade II in 2002 and Blade: Trinity in 2004, as well as a short-lived television show, Blade: The Series starring Kirk "Sticky Fingaz" Jones, in 2006.

What's Going On With Blade In The MCU?

After years of attempts to reboot Blade for a Marvel Cinematic Universe feature starring Mahershala Ali, who appeared as the character in a voice cameo for 2021's Eternals, the character finally returned to the silver screen as portrayed by Snipes in 2024's Deadpool & Wolverine. Snipes' Daywalker was just one of several classic Marvel film stars to reprise their old roles, with Chris Evans' Johnny Storm and Jennifer Garner's Elektra both joining in on the group's comeback.

As far as the future of Blade on the silver screen goes, things aren't looking too bright for the Daywalker right now. Mia Goth, who was previously signed on to co-star in the MCU's Blade feature alongside Mahershala Ali, recently opened up about the film, explaining that after rounds of auditions, chemistry tests, and costume fittings, the project "just unraveled... unfortunately."

The Deadpool & Wolverine Wave 2 line of Marvel Legends figures are currently available for pre-order via Entertainment Earth and Amazon.
