Comics Journal #76 |
Comics Journal v1 #76, 1982 - Gary Groth's interview with Bernie Wrightson is among the longest of the artist's career. At thirty-plus pages, they cover his vast bronze age output, including his work for DC and Warren. Needless to say, this fanzine is a must for Wrighston fans. Note that the artist's entertaining new cover features characters used in the film Heavy Metal, which debuted in theaters only a year before. Other articles feature John Byrne and Philip K. Dick.
