Deadpool & Wolverine's X-23 is back as a new collectible recreates Dafne Keen's iconic character in pitch-perfect detail.
As seen in a recent video published by Sideshow Collectibles, Deadpool & Wolverine fans can now upgrade their home displays with Hot Toys' new Deadpool & Wolverine X-23 1/6 scale figure. Bearing a striking resemblance to Deadpool & Wolverine star Dafne Keen, the figure is one of the most detailed from the line yet, and hosts a variety of features that fans will love.
Among the many accouterments packaged with the Deadpool & Wolverine X-23 1/6 scale figure are multiple hands both with and without claws, multiple hairstyles, a carefully crafted outfit with detailing identical to Keen's look from the film, and more articulation than fans ever expected. On top of articulated toe boxes on the feet for more dynamic posing, the figure's eyes are able to be independently articulated so that X-23 can keep watch over any corner of the battlefield.
The Deadpool & Wolverine X-23 1/6 scale figure is just one of a trio of new figures pulled straight from the film that have received recent Hot Toys' treatments. Currently available as companion pieces to the Deadpool & Wolverine X-23 1/6 scale figure are a similarly sized Deluxe Wolverine and Blade figures, both of which have been crafted with the very same level of attention to detail.
Will Dafne Keen Play X-23 Again?
Image via Marvel EntertainmentKeen made her debut as Laura Kinney, better known as X-23, in Logan in 2017. The film introduced Keen as a young, terrified (and terrifying) clone of Wolverine who is in desperate need of help. Over the course of the film, Hugh Jackman's eponymous mutant antihero helps Laura face off against all manner of superpowered threats, rescue her fellow young mutants, and come into her own as a hero.
Keen reprised the role of X-23 for 2024's Deadpool & Wolverine as one of several fan-favorite X-Men film stars who returned for the project. Among others were Aaron Stanford as Pyro and Tyler Mane as Sabretooth. Deadpool & Wolverine also brought back non-X-Men film stars from years past, such as Jennifer Garner in the role of Elektra, Chris Evans as Johnny Storm, and Wesley Snipes' instantly iconic Blade.
While Keen is currently lined up to star in the upcoming horror film Whistle after making her debut as Artemis in Season 2 of Percy Jackson and The Olympians, she has been vocal about her desire to continue portraying Laura Kinney in further Marvel projects. "I would love to come back. I would pay them to come back," Keen said back in 2024. "Playing Laura has been the biggest honor of my life. To me we've only scratched the surface with her since she's such a complex character. She's so cool, just from a fan's standpoint."
Keen also confirmed that her character from Deadpool & Wolverine is very much the same Laura Kinney from Logan. According to Keen, the character lost her accent between films after spending so much time in America after the events of Logan, which left off with her leading the rest of the young mutant refugees into an uncertain future.
Sideshow Collectibles' X-23 figure is available for pre-order now.
