This is a prequel to Matt Murdock becoming Daredevil. It’s mildly interesting. The covers are kind of gruesome but tell the story of Battlin’ Jack, Matt’s dad, getting knocked out in the ring.
That boxing match is the time anchor for the story, with the rest of it flashing back across Jack’s life. Matt Murdock appears, but never in costume.
This is a Marvel Knights story, but I think it supposed to be in 616 continuity.
