Marvel Studios has confirmed that Daredevil: Born Again will continue for a third season, and fans now know one of its most dangerous figures will return. Actor Wilson Bethel has revealed that he will reprise his role as Bullseye, bringing the character back for another clash with Matt Murdock.
Bethel spoke during a convention appearance last weekend, where he told the audience that he is officially coming back for Season 3. He explained that production will begin next year and that the fan-favorite villain will appear on screen once again beside Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin. “As some of you might know, we’ve already got picked up for another new season that we will start doing next year. We’ll have more Bullseye on the way and Kingpin and all the rest,” Bethel said.
His return was widely expected, since he had already been spotted on set during filming for Season 2. The cast of Daredevil: Born Again appears to be staying together for at least three seasons. Both D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox reportedly have multi-season contracts that include a third run, giving the show room to develop the ongoing conflict between Daredevil and his enemies.

Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again is set for release on Disney+ in March 2026. Based on the production schedule, the third season could arrive as early as 2027 if Marvel keeps its yearly cycle. The next installment will continue the story of Murdock, a lawyer by day and masked vigilante by night, as he faces Kingpin’s growing criminal power in New York.
Set images and early trailer details have already shown that Bullseye returns after escaping prison. Bethel teased that the upcoming season dives deeper into his character’s mind, calling it one of the most complex and chaotic storylines yet. “There are whole new avenues of Dex’s interesting, messed-up psyche that we get to explore, and there’s some really, really fun stuff that’s on the way for Bullseye and Dex,” he said. He also described one new fight scene as “the coolest Bullseye fight sequence that we have yet to see in the show.”
Fans will see Daredevil and Bullseye working together next season. Kingpin will use his influence to launch an “Anti Vigilante Task Force,” forcing former enemies to align against a common threat. Other returning cast members for Season 2 include Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, and Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones.
