After experiencing a period of significant growth, we find ourselves needing to take steps in response to increasing overhead, changing market conditions, and external economic factors," Dark Horse explained in an official statement addressing the layoffs.

The publisher also announced the imminent end of its Things From Another World program. Dark Horse told affiliates it will end the program on April 14. "As we continue to evaluate TFAW's evolving needs, we have decided to wind down the program to focus on new opportunities," Dark Horse stated.
