David Krumholtz and Emily Beecham Join "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" as Kara Zor-El's Parents

Actors David Krumholtz ("Oppenheimer", "Deliver Me from Nowhere") and Emily Beecham ("Cruella", "1899") have joined the cast of "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" in the respective roles of Zor-El and Alura In-Ze, the parents of Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl. The two join a growing cast featuring Milly Alcock ("House of the Dragon") who will portray the title role, Matthias Schoenaerts as the villainous Krem of the Yellow Hill, Jason Momoa as the fearsome Lobo, and Eve Ridley as Ruthye Mary Knolle.
The upcoming DC Studios film, based on Tom King's 2022 comic book series of the same name, promises a thrilling exploration of Superman's cousin as she navigates her identity and her powers in a world filled with challenges. While the plot of of the film remains under wraps, anticipation is building for the emotional and action-packed journey ahead.
Craig Gillespie is directing the film from a script by Ana Nogueira. The project is produced by DC's James Gunn and Peter Safran, with Chantal Nong serving as executive producer. Production on the highly anticipated project has officially begun in the UK.
"Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" is currently scheduled to premiere in theaters on June 26th, 2026.
