The lineup for the next round of Marvel and DC Comics crossovers has finally been revealed, and it's even better than the last one.

Per a press release from Marvel and DC Comics, the official story lineup for the upcoming Batman/Deadpool #1 has been revealed, as have the creative teams for each entry. Things are set to begin with an opening Batman/Deadpool crossover story, "The Cosmic Kiss Caper!" by Grant Morrison, Dan Mora, Alejandro Sanchez, and Todd Klein, which is just one of five pulse-pounding tales that readers can look forward to.

Nightwing and Laura Kinney, aka Wolverine, will also cross paths in "Sticks & Snikts" by Tom Taylor, Bruno Redondo, Adriano Lucas, and Wes Abbott, while Harley Quinn and The Incredible Hulk are set to form an incredibly unlikely duo in "Harley & Hulk's Amazin' Saturday!!!" by Mariko Tamaki, Amanda Conner, Tamra Bonvillain, and Dave Sharpe. Finally, Static and Ms. Marvel will meet one another in "New Friends in Old Places" by G. Willow Wilson, Denys Cowan, Klaus Janson, Francesco Segala, and Steve Wands.

Batman/Deadpool #1 follows on the heels of Deadpool/Batman #1, which arrived in comic book stores earlier this year to the delight of fans everywhere. The crossover issue not only featured team-ups between the likes of Daredevil and the Green Arrow or Captain America and Wonder Woman, but it also gave readers a rare window back into the Amalgam Universe. The success of Deadpool/Batman #1 was overwhelming, with fans getting the chance to dive back into it all over again courtesy of the upcoming second printing set to arrive in stores on October 29.

When the crossover issues were announced back in May, President and CCO of DC Comics Jim Lee opened up about the genuinely momentous occasion, noting that "It happens kind of once every generation of readers." Lee explained, "The timing has to be right in that you don't want to do these too often. You want them to feel special... So you want the story, creatively, to warrant the hype of it all."

Regarding taking the lead on Batman/Deadpool #1 in particular, writer Grant Morrison stated that there was "No way I could turn down the chance to work with Dan Mora again, one of my all-time favorite artistic collaborators." Morrison also told readers to "Expect 4th wall-busting mayhem, owls, blood, blades, and at least one giant typewriter," when Batman/Deadpool #1 arrives.

Batman/Deadpool #1 goes on sale in January from DC and Marvel Comics.
