DC Comics has dropped a brand-new trailer for one of the most anticipated comic books in recent memory. Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee's Batman #158, which will begin the new Hush sequel story arc, will hit comic book shelves this March.
The DC trailer aptly opens with the text "The most anticipated sequel in comic history," as its two legendary creators, Loeb and Lee, walk into view. The teaser then cuts to some comic-book action as Batman swoops down on a truck carrying deadly fish and proceeds to brutally take down the clown-masked goons, one jaw-cracking kick at a time. Lee's masterful art is teased as the trailer concludes with a glimpse of the titular villain Hush. Dubbed H2SH by DC, the new Hush story arc will begin with Batman #158 and draw to a close in Batman #163. Loeb and Lee will collaborate with Scott Williams, Alex Sinclair, and Richard Starkings on the project.

RETRO REVIEW - Batman: The Killing Joke Shows the Triumphant Power of Belief
Batman: The Killing Joke is the best Joker story. At its heart, it's about Commissioner Gordon's beliefs winning against the Joker's nihilism.
DC also recently unveiled an exciting look at H2SH, which included preview pages for Batman #158 and #159. The opening preview page of Batman #158 replicates the opening sequence of the new trailer, with the Dark Knight swooping in to face the Joker's henchmen. The Clown Prince of Crime lands a brutal crowbar hit to Batman's face. Their fight sees the hero fall into the water, where vicious fish attack him. Meanwhile, The Joker finds himself in trouble, too. Later, back at his headquarters, Bruce Wayne meets up with other members of the Bat Family, appearing to discuss their next move.
The Batman #159 preview is more somber, with Batman driving by Park Row and having a flashback to the murder of his parents, Thomas and Martha Wayne. DC's solicitation for the issue teases Bruce's emotional turmoil: "After the shocking events of the last issue, Batman must make the hardest decision of his life."

DC's Absolute Mr. Freeze Is Line's Biggest Change Yet
DC Comics hasn't shied away from canon and design changes lately, but nothing compares to Absolute Batman's Mr. Freeze.
The Original Hush Storyline
Considered by many as one of the Caped Crusader's greatest stories, the original Hush storyline debuted in October 2002 and ran from Batman #608–619, ending in September 2003. The story sees the mysterious villain Hush intent on sabotaging Batman by manipulating the hero, members of his Bat-Family, his close ally Superman, and members of his rogues gallery.
Hush is eventually revealed to be Bruce Wayne's childhood friend, Thomas Elliot, who had always resented the Wayne family after Bruce's father, Dr. Thomas Wayne, saved the life of Thomas' mother after he attempted to secretly murder her as a child.
Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee's Batman #158 goes on sale March 26 from DC Comics.
