Disney Cancels the UK ‘Snow White’ Premiere to Avoid Negative Publicity
Disney’s upcoming live-action adaptation of Snow White has sparked significant backlash, primarily due to the mouth on its lead actress Rachel Zegler. Now, with the surprise decision to cancel the movie’s UK premiere, it looks like Disney is attempting to mitigate the expected criticisms, despite their corporate gaslighting.

Disney’s adaptation of Snow White has become an albatross around their neck ever since the “problematic” actress Zegler decided to trash the cherished 1937 original during early promotional tours. She boasted like a snotty kid that her remake would remedy all of the original masterpiece’s flaws.
“She’s not gonna be saved by the prince, and she’s not gonna be dreaming about true love,” Zegler reassured one interviewer. “She’s dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be, and the leader her late father told her that she could be if she was fearless, fair, brave, and true,” and added that in the original movie, Snow White’s love interest, Prince Florian, “literally stalks her,” adding “weird, weird… so we didn’t do that this time.”
She came off as smug and entitled. Not a good look. And that’s just the first time she was insufferable. It happened time and time and time again.

With advertising and print promotional costs, the movie’s budget might be getting close to $400 million. And according to the most recent tracking figures, it is expected to debut with a catastrophic $53 million in domestic sales. After the disaster of Captain America: Brave New World, another Disney debacle plagued by costly reshoots that has already died in theaters, Disney is not having a good 2025.

Disney deserves it. They knew she was trouble when they cast her, and now they get to reap the rewards.
