The Ultimate Black Panther's incredible saga is quickly approaching its ultimate finale.

As revealed by Marvel Comics during New York Comic Con, the fan-favorite Ultimate Black Panther ongoing series will be reaching its conclusion in 2026 with the release of its 24th issue. Of course, Ultimate Black Panther is just one of several Ultimate titles set to close out next year, as the epic sage of Earth-6160 in its entirety approaches what is sure to be one of the most explosive finales in modern comics history. The official solicit synopsis for Ultimate Black Panther #24 from Marvel Comics reads, "T’Challa vs. the Progenitors in a final showdown for control of not only Vibranium and Wakanda, but the whole world. The T'Challa, or Black Panther of the current Ultimate Universe made his debut alongside many of Earth-6160's other heroes in the pages of 2023's Ultimate Universe #1 by Jonathan Hickman, Stefano Caselli, David Curiel, and Peach Momoko. Over the course of Ultimate Black Panther, readers have seen T'Challa and his allies such as Storm and Killmonger do everything they can to fight back against the threat of Khonshu and his legions of lethally loyal followers. Ultimate Black Panther has also introduced an entirely new form of Vibranium to the pages of Marvel Comics, one that quite literally has a mind of its own.

Regarding the end of the Ultimate Universe as it stands today, Ultimates writer and Ultimate Universe co-architect Deniz Camp said, "It's hard to talk about it without getting emotional. It really is the culmination of everything Jonathan [Hickman] began. Everything from my book and everyone else's book are all converging. It's gonna be definitive, it's going to be big. It's going to be emotional, there's going to be death... It's just wild."
