“I’m genuinely excited about the release of ‘Yule’! Jordan and I poured a lot of passion into this project, and I think bringing horror into the holiday season is an absolutely brilliant idea. It’s been such a joy to contribute to a special anthology like Dread the Halls, and I hope readers will love it as much as we loved creating it,” Vecchio said in a statement for The Beat.

“‘Yule’ is a story that starts as a made-for-TV Christmas movie and flips into a brutal fight for survival,” Hart said in a statement for The Beat. “To me, only one artist could pull off that shifting narrative: Luana Vecchio. She can truly render everything, whether it’s idyllic characters and settings or violent action. I kept the script loose so she had complete freedom to put her storytelling talents on display. The end result is lightyears beyond what I originally imagined and one of the best stories in Dread the Halls‘ history.”
