Where Ink On Paper Studios leads, Gilmore Girls fans will follow. The company’s highly-anticipated Drink Coffee, Talk Fast: A Documentary About Gilmore Girls project co-directed by Meghna Balakumar and Kevin Konrad Hanna (Mike Mignola: Drawing Monsters) hit its Kickstarter goal in just 48 hours and, at time of writing, has raised over $234 thousand from nearly 2 thousand backers.

Going into the final week of crowdfunding, Balakumar and Hanna have announced additional interviewees for the film and stretch goals for the campaign, and The Beat has all the details.

Drink Coffee, Talk Fast: A Documentary About Gilmore Girls is timed to the beloved show’s 25th anniversary and features interviews with more than 30 cast and crew members. It dives into the series through commentary, critique, and cultural analysis to examine why Gilmore Girls became such a genre-defying, autumnal staple for so many that is still being talked about a quarter-century after its debut.

  • Actor Chad Michael Murray (Tristin Dugray)
  • Actor Keiko Agena (Lane Kim)
  • Actor Sally Struthers (Babette Dell)

Ink On Paper Studios has also announced a new Kickstarter stretch goal. If the campaign hits $245 thousand, it will release a “More Drama Than a Friday Night Dinner” bumper sticker for all physical reward tiers. Backers have previously unlocked the following stretch goals:
