Mad Cave Studios has announced the exciting brand-new series Don't Forget Your Briefcase, which will deliver a darkly comedic take on nuclear warfare and the chaos of global power structures. CBR can exclusively share a sneak peek of Don't Forget Your Briefcase #1, currently available for pre-order and set to hit comic shelves this June.
Best-selling author Eliot Rahal (Knock Em Dead, Midnight Vista) and acclaimed artist Phillip Sevy (Tomb Raider, X-Men Unlimited) will helm the five-issue political farce series in collaboration with colorist Warnia K. Sahadewa and letterer Frank Cvetkovic. Mad Cave Studios' Don't Forget Your Briefcase description reads, "Everywhere the President goes, there is a military liaison who follows, carrying a briefcase with the codes to launch a nuclear strike—and it's just been lost. This is the story about what happens when a ten-year-old boy finds a nuclear football and accidentally brings the world to the brink of annihilation." In addition to Sevy's main cover, Marguerite Sauvage provides a variant cover for the first issue.

Don't Forget Your Briefcase writer Rahal enjoys collaborating with Sevy and is excited about their upcoming Mad Cave Studios series. "This is the kind of storytelling I want to do. I want to make it special, and I want to work with people I love. And I love Phil," Rahal said. "Mad Cave is allowing us to do something off-beat and specific. I couldn't be more excited."
