Mad Cave Studios is teaming up with a long list of all-star creators for LA Strong: A Charity Comic for Victims of the Los Angeles Fires, who are doing some real good by contributing to the new collection supporting those comic creators impacted by the recent disasters in Los Angeles.
100% of the LA Strong comic proceeds will go straight to comic creators in need. Mad Cave is working with Dav Pilkey (Captain Underpants), Forefront Books, Macmillian Publishers, and Ingram Content Group in donating funds to The Book Industry Charitable (Binc) that will help with financial assistance to book stores, comic shops, and employees impacted by the recent fires.
There are a lot of names participating in the collection as LA Strong: A Charity Comic for Victims of the Los Angeles Fires features contributions from Barbara Kessel, Brian Azzarello, Brian Michael Bendis, Christos Gage, Dan DiDio, Daniel Kibblesmith, Frank Tieri, Greg Pak, Jimmy Palmiotti, Jody Houser, Marv Wolfman, Paul Cornell, Rob DenBleyker, Sina Grace, Stephanie Phillips, Steve Orlando, Alex Cormack, Alison Sampson, Amanda Conner, Christian Ward, Geraldo Borges, Ian Churchill, Michael Avon Oeming, Nico Leon, Rian Gonzales, Salvador Larroca, Sami Kivelä and more.

“This collection of pages represents a sample of the wild creativity that went into LA STRONG,” said editor Sarah Brunstad. “Creators from around the world and various corners of entertainment poured their talents into this project. Some shared deeply personal, vulnerable stories about losses and fears they or their loved ones have faced, like Marv Wolfman and Jolyon Yates’ page. Others unleashed their imaginations to take us to otherworldly realms, like Geoffrey Ryman and PJ Holden’s page here. Everyone who picks up this book will find a page that resonates with them.”
LA Strong: A Charity Comic for Victims of the Los Angeles Fires releases March 12, 2025, and retails for $9.99 USD.
