Fantastic Four – Volume 07 Issue 29

“The Dream Team”

Have things really changed under Doctor Doom? Many people who defied the Latverian dictator and his global insurrection now find themselves asking that very question. For The Fantastic Four, it has been difficult. They know his past and his true intentions. But humanity seems to be content. All accept the recent vampire population turned during the Blood Hunt event.

The elderly, disabled, parents and their children were once human. Now they suffer from the “thirst” as any vampire fledgling would. These people were victims of savage creatures who never belonged to this plain of existence. Now Doom has begun a disinformation campaign against all vampires, turning good wholesome people into radical zealots of hate. It will take heroes like Reed, Sue, Johnny, and Ben to enlighten those who have become enamored with the new Sorcerer Supreme.

Will the world truly align with Doom and his unreasonable demands? Can Reed Richards find a cure for those suffering from the undefiable bloodthirst? Where does Jennifer Walters stand on Brooklyn vampire regentrification? Collect the series to find out!

Reviewer Notes

The “One World Under Doom” event should have been a major win for Marvel Comics. Unfortunately, it seems the company is using this as a vehicle to push their leftwing politics on readers. Why? Readers want an escape from the daily bombardment of anti-Trump and MAGA stories being pushed in the news and social media. Enough with this garbage already! I give this issue three out of five stars.
