The Walking Dead Deluxe Connecting Variant Covers

Preceded by "A Larger World," The Walking Dead's iconic "Something to Fear" arc follows Rick Grimes and his group as they confront the Hilltop Colony's enemy, The Saviors, a group of brutal people led by Negan. Rick initially underestimates The Saviors and dismisses their threat level until some of his best friends suffer gruesome deaths. Alexandria is forced to begin paying tribute with half of their supplies to the Saviors and an enraged Rick vows to kill Negan.

The Walking Dead Franchise

Kirkman's The Walking Dead comic series debuted in 2003 and ran for 193 issues. The series spawned a multimedia franchise that continues to endure. The Walking Dead franchise includes special one-shots, graphic novels, video games, and the fan-favorite television franchise on the AMC network. The original Walking Dead television series ran from 2010 to 2022, followed by the spin-off series Fear the Walking Dead (2015–2023). The Walking Dead: World Beyond (2020–2021), and an anthology, Tales of the Walking Dead (2022), further expanded the TV franchise.

Three further spin-off series have also debuted featuring returning main characters: The Walking Dead: Dead City, which focuses on Negan and Maggie; The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which focuses on Daryl; and The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, which focuses on Rick and Michonne. Another series entitled More Tales from the Walking Dead Universe is currently in development.
