Hardcore Station v1 #4, 1998 - The death of his friend and the destruction of an entire planet weighs on the mind of Chief Justice Max. Drowning his sorrows in a bar, he's called before the murderous perpetrator. Surprisingly, Synnar offers him employment. Credit to Jim Starlin for taking on the themes of loss and sacrifice in a serious way. His sequencing builds slowly toward a climax midway through the story. As usual, his pencils are enhanced by Joe Rubinstein's fine inking. This is 4 of 6 Hardcore Station issues by Starlin.
