Lobo is about to lead DC Comics into its next era of storytelling ahead of his live-action feature film debut.

Per a press release from DC Comics, critically acclaimed writers Scott Snyder and Joshua Williamson are set to take the DC Universe to the "Next Level" for the second act of the ongoing DC All In initiative — And it all starts on March 4 with the debut of a brand-new Lobo series from writer Skottie Young and artist Jorge Corona.

Lobo will be followed by the release of a new Batwoman series by writer and co-creator Greg Rucka and artist DaNi on March 11. One week later on March 18, DC Comics' Next Level initiative continues with the release of Deathstroke #1 by writer Tony Fleecs and artist Carmine Di Giandomenico. Readers can check out various covers and concept art for all three of these upcoming new series in the image gallery below.

Scott Snyder said of DC Comics' upcoming initiative, "Josh and I are excited to enter the second phase of DC All In with Next Level. From the launch of the DC All In Special, to the introduction of an Absolute universe, and into the DC K.O. event that we’re right in the middle of now, we're determined to build on all of the fan enthusiasm, and the retail support and story momentum, by continuing to take big swings in 2026."

"I’m incredibly excited to be involved in this new initiative designed to super-charge DC’s main line," added Joshua Williamson. "Much like how the Absolute Universe provided a new burst of creative energy with a series of unexpected new series, DC: Next Level aims to deliver similar excitement."

DC: Next Level will follow hot on the heels of the ongoing DC K.O. crossover event, which brought together 32 of the DC Universe's most capable (and lethal) heroes and villains for a grand tournament to decide who among them is worthy of standing up to the might of the King Omega — Darkseid. Should they fail, Darkseid will usher in a new era of horror by setting off what can only be described as a carefully calculated Crisis-level event.

The official solicit synopsis for Lobo #1 from DC Comics gives readers at least some clue as to where things will end up in the wake of DC K.O., reading, "Vrrrrroooooommmmmmmm! The Main Man's back, baby! And his ride is a motorcycle that moves at the speed of sound, but only if that sound is a rippin' guitar solo, and you better hop on before he leaves you in the dust with all the bastiches he's fragged for money or convenience!"

"It's a guts-soaked path from DC K.O. to the end of the universe, where Lobo is going to scratch his name and number in the Source Wall with a cool knife. Don't miss the mayhem, special guests, or tasty, tasty continuity! Don’t you do it!"

If that weren't exciting enough, all of this precedes Lobo's upcoming live-action feature film debut as portrayed by Jason Momoa in Supergirl, starring Milly Alcock. Fans got their first look at Momoa's Lobo in the recently released teaser trailer for Supergirl, which showcases a quick glimpse at the hulking interstellar bounty hunter as he steps out of the shadows bearing a particularly grim visage.

Lobo #1 goes on sale March 4, 2026 from DC Comics. Batwoman #1 and Deathstroke #1 go on sale March 11 and March 18, respectively.

The Justice League, including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman and Martian Manhunter, pose together on the Justice League of America Vol. 1 comic cover.
