Hulk: Raging Thunder (2008): 1st Lyra

This is a one-shot where Thundra, who is from the future, goes back in time.  In the future, the world is dominated by strong women, and Thundra seems to just want to prove to her future female colleagues that she can beat up Hulk, we see in the end that it’s a ruse.  She kisses Hulk and uses the DNA from the kiss to clone Hulk and then use him to get her pregnant.

This is disturbing on many levels and I won’t say more about it.

The real goal here is to introduce this genetic daughter of Hulk, Lyra, who will become a key player in the Hulkverse in 2009.

There’s also a reprint of Thundra’s first appearance to remind us that she has always been a time travel character.
