Warner Bros. Games has rolled out Update 6.6 for Injustice 2 Mobile, introducing new characters inspired by James Gunn's "Superman" (2025) and delivering a range of meaningful gameplay enhancements. The update expands the mobile title's roster with fresh interpretations of iconic DC characters, giving players new ways to engage with the evolving Superman mythos.

Central to the update is the debut of Legendary Lex Luthor, available to unlock at no cost through a limited-time login calendar running through December 23. Designed to stand apart from existing fighters, Lex Luthor features a distinctive "Funds" system in place of the traditional Power meter. This mechanic allows players to strategically allocate resources into special abilities, with higher investments producing more powerful results, reflecting Luthor's calculated and methodical approach to combat.

Lex Luthor is also capable of deploying AI-controlled Raptor units that scale with his stats and equipment. For the first time in Injustice 2 Mobile, these units provide benefits to the entire team, introducing new strategic dimensions and encouraging inventive team compositions. Joining Luthor is a new Superman inspired by the film, further strengthening the game's connection to DC's broader storytelling direction.

Beyond new characters, Update 6.6 delivers several improvements across the game. Solo Raids have been refreshed with a seasonal structure and clearer progression, while a new Vault Key system replaces randomized rewards to offer more consistent outcomes. Additional updates include enhancements to the combat interface for improved clarity and adjustments to the Apokolips Artifact Set, including the addition of new items.

With its combination of character-driven content and system-wide refinements, Update 6.6 underscores Injustice 2 Mobile's ongoing evolution, offering players deeper strategy, fresh gameplay experiences, and a renewed connection to the world of Superman.
