Time is running out for Marvel's Ultimate Universe. The launch of a new Ultimate Universe has been an immediate hit with fans, but as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. This is even true for the Ultimate Universe, which is closing its doors with the event series Ultimate Endgame.
As fans get ready to say goodbye to the Ultimate versions of Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Avengers, Marvel is giving a glimpse at what's in store for these heroes in March 2026. The solicitations for Ultimate Wolverine #15, Ultimate Endgame #4, and Ultimates #22-23 ramp up the drama and foreshadow some startling returns and pulse-pounding confrontations.

Ultimate Endgame Wraps Up the Ultimate Universe With a Bang

Those comics include Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate Black Panther, and Ultimate X-Men, and while their individual series are done, that doesn't mean fans will have seen the last of them. Ultimate Endgame keeps the ball rolling, and its penultimate issue will be a shocker.
Peter Parker's confrontation with The Maker is so revelatory that Marvel is classifying the cover of Ultimate Endgame #4 until the first issue hits stands later this month. The evil Reed Richards is responsible for shaping this Ultimate Universe to his liking, but the world's heroes are finally joining forces to fight back.
Logan reverts back to his Winter Soldier programming in Ultimate Wolverine #15, with Jean Grey the only hope to pull Logan back from the brink. Ultimates #22-23 offer two character-defining issues, with Captain America facing off against his former sidekick, Bucky Barnes, who is the new Red Skull, and Thor teaming up with his nemesis, Surtur.
Ultimates #22-23, Ultimate Wolverine #15, and Ultimate Endgame #4 all go on sale in March 2026 from Marvel Comics.
